Le Meridien Ile Maurice has 198 ocean-front rooms, all of which are centrally air-conditioned and equipped with a television with satellite channels, a minibar, iron and ironing board, individual safe and tea and coffee-making facilities. Rooms feature large bathrooms with a tub and shower, double sinks and hairdryers. There are 24 interconnecting rooms, all located on the ground and first floors. Asian Health Spa and Fitness Centre is the best of its kind with sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, jacuzzi, massage rooms, aerobic facilities and a gymnasium with a selection of exercise equipment. In addition, there are two floodlit tennis courts with instructors. Numerous beach and water sports are available for guests enjoyment that include volleyball, beach football, bocci ball, tennis volley, water polo, water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, glass-bottom boats, snorkelling, kayaking, pedalos and diving. Penguin Children's Club is a supervised facility for children aged three to 12 with games and video, beach activities and picnics.
